Thinking of turning your Big Day Out into an overnight stay? There is more fun in store for you on Saturday 19th September. Check out the Sunday Best exhibition at Scarborough's Old Parcels Office Artspace. The exhibition is open 11 am to 4 pm and celebrates the tradition of travelling to the seaside dressed in your finest clothes. From elegant Victorian promenades to the changing fashions of the 1920s, 30s and beyond, discover how a visit to Scarborough was once as much about style and social ritual as it was about the sea.

Also on Saturday 19th September, the SHN's Allan Brodie will be delivering a free talk at St Mary's Church, Scarborough on 'Scarborough in the 1730s - Spa, Sea and Sex'. The talk is hosted by Little Big Ideas By The Sea and starts at 3 pm - all are welcome to attend.
